Threefold Path

An Orthodox Christian Classical Education can be summarized with the following petitions from one of our most ancient prayers:

Blessed are You, O Lord, teach me Your statutes.
Blessed are You, O Master, make me to understand Your decrees.
Blessed are You, O Holy One, enlighten me with Your
commandments.

We see in the classical model of education the same basic structure of the spiritual life. First comes illumination, then purification, and finally divinization.
