A Classical Education

Agia Sophia Academy will be the very first Orthodox Christian school in Oregon.

"Our Mission ... is to educate the mind, body, and soul according to the Tradition of the Orthodox Christian Faith and the ideals of Classical Wisdom. Our vision is to develop and sustain a Pan-Orthodox, K-12, Faith-based, private educational ministry in Portland, Oregon."

A classical education based on the Trivium model combined with a holistic Orthodox environment and an integrated Christian curriculum is something I wish I would have had as a student.

My wife is intimately involved in the school as a key member of the curriculum committee and we are excited to see this project finally come together.
